Housed in the historic Negarestan Museum Park Gardens, Tehran, Iran, the institution will be home to over fifty works from Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian’s personal collection, including some of her signature reverse glass painting and mirror mosaic works that incorporate elements of ancient Islamic art and geometric principles. The permanent display will also comprise of wall-based panels and free-standing works, drawings, original carpets and jewelry, as well as works from Monir’s Heartacheseries.
